Don Pedro Aganbi is a pioneer tech broadcaster who has reported digital developments in Africa, America, and Europe spanning over two decades. He was one of the frontline reporters of the pre and post-liberalisation era of the telecoms industry in Nigeria.
Aganbi started his broadcasting career at Channels Television and also worked at the Lagos State Television (LTV), Minaj Broadcast International, Television Continental (TVC) and Murhi International Television (MITV).
He has over forty local and international awards in his kitty. He is a 2006 1st prize Award winner, courtesy; of the UN/AISA Africa Media Awards and 2008 Global IT Champion Award Winner (Media Category) courtesy; of the World Information Technology Society Alliance (WITSA). Don Pedro Aganbi is a dealer in hope. He showed by his own life what is possible when a person has hope, plans fastidiously, and is unafraid of hard work. He also believes in cooperation, collaboration, and association to get things done.
He is a founding member of the Pan African Digital Initiative, an advocacy group that promotes ICT4D across Africa, and vice chairman, of Cloud Network Foundation, a group of the nation’s first 11 tech reporters with a mission to influence policies and promote ICT agenda in Nigeria.
